We're a Seattle wedding photography team that's been shooting weddings here since 2012. Pike Place ceremonies, Woodinville winery receptions, backyard weddings in Ballard—we've probably shot in your venue already.

Wedding Photography Seattle: Real Moments, No Stress

BOOK YOUR DAY

Last June, a couple asked if we could shoot their morning ceremony at Golden Gardens, afternoon tea ceremony in the International District, and evening reception in Capitol Hill. Different lighting, different vibes, three locations. We said yes because that's just how Seattle weddings work now.

Our wedding photography services cover the stuff you expect—getting ready shots, ceremony, reception—plus the things you don't plan for. Like when your flower girl refuses to walk down the aisle, or your dad gets emotional and can't finish his speech. We catch those moments without making them awkward.

We shoot digital, deliver everything in high resolution, and don't make you buy prints you don't want. Your photos live in an online gallery you can share with family, and we include the full editing—color correction, exposure fixes, the works. No hidden fees for "premium editing."

Got a complicated timeline or multiple locations? Text us your situation at (222)333-4444 and we'll tell you honestly if we can make it work.

Our Fremont photography studio sits right next to Theo Chocolate. Couples stop by to flip through albums, meet our team, or panic-plan when their timeline falls apart. We've got a couch, good coffee, and walls covered in real wedding photos from real Seattle couples.

The studio doubles as our editing space, so when you stop by, you're seeing where your photos actually get made. No corporate headquarters in another state—just us, here in Seattle, working on your images.

We keep sample albums from weddings at Sodo Park, Chateau Lux, and The Edgewater so you can see exactly what your venue looks like through our lens. Brides bring their moms. Grooms bring their skeptical friends. Everyone leaves feeling better about their choice.

Stop by our Fremont studio this week—grab a coffee at Theo next door and we'll show you real albums from weddings just like yours. No appointment needed Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-4pm.

CALL US

Between May and October, I'm working as an event photographer almost every weekend. Corporate events at Bell Harbor, nonprofit galas at MOHAI, company parties in South Lake Union. When businesses need an event photographer who knows Seattle venues and won't make your guests feel weird about being photographed, they call us.

We did a tech company's holiday party last December where the CEO specifically said "no awkward posed photos." So we wandered, caught conversations, grabbed candid laughs, and delivered images they actually used on their website. That's the goal—photos people want to see again.

Festival photography, award ceremonies, product launches—we've covered them. We bring the right lenses for dimly lit venues (looking at you, Georgetown Ballroom) and know which Seattle spaces require flash permits.

Planning a corporate event between now and December? Call us at (222)333-4444. We'll walk your venue with you beforehand so there's no surprises on event day.

Drone aerial photography changed everything for outdoor ceremonies. Rattlesnake Ledge, Snoqualmie Falls, anywhere with mountain views—we bring our licensed drone to capture angles you can't get from the ground.

Got our FAA Part 107 license in 2018 after a bride asked if we could "somehow show the whole vineyard." Now we shoot aerials for about 40% of our weddings, especially destination ones out in the San Juans or Leavenworth.

Weather matters here. If it's raining or too windy, we don't fly. But we've gotten good at predicting those brief Seattle sun breaks and getting the drone up fast. Some of our best aerial shots happened in 10-minute windows between clouds.

Want to see if drone shots will work at your venue? Send us the location and date—we'll check weather patterns and flight restrictions for free.

Family portraits happen in our portrait studio year-round, but wedding portrait sessions get intense between February and April. That's when engaged couples book bridal portraits before the big day, or families want formal shots without the wedding-day chaos.

We've got lighting setups for traditional poses and a more casual corner with natural light if that's your style. Grandparents love the classic look. Younger couples usually want something that doesn't feel stiff.

Boudoir bridal photography happens here too, always private sessions with just you and one photographer. Some brides do these as wedding gifts, others just want them for themselves. We keep everything discreet and never share without permission.

Book your bridal portrait session before March and we'll include a free 8x10 print for your mom. She'll cry either way, might as well give her something to frame.

This started by accident. A bride asked if we knew anyone who could print her thank-you cards using a photo we'd shot. We found a printer, coordinated everything, and she told five friends. Now we handle wedding invitation printing, save-the-dates, programs, and photo thank you cards.

We use local print shops in Georgetown and connect your photos with quality cardstock. If you need invitations printed fast because your timeline got pushed up (happens more than you'd think), we've got rush options.

Same-day previews from engagement shoots go straight into save-the-date designs. We've streamlined the whole process so you're not emailing files back and forth with three different vendors.

Need invitations printed fast? Email us your photo and deadline—if we can't meet it, we'll tell you in the first reply.

Seattle wedding photography means being ready for anything. Sun, rain, unexpected ferry delays, venues that change their rules last minute. We've shot in all of it.
Our full day wedding coverage starts when you're getting ready and ends after your first dance, usually 8-10 hours. We bring a second shooter photographer to every wedding so we're capturing both sides—what's happening in the bridal suite and what's happening with the groom's crew.

Engagement sessions happen all over Seattle. Discovery Park, Gasworks, the waterfront near the ferris wheel. We spend about 90 minutes shooting, which gives you time to relax and forget there's a camera pointed at you.

These sessions matter because they're practice. You figure out which poses feel natural, we learn how you move together, and everyone's more comfortable on wedding day. Plus you get photos for your save-the-dates and wedding website.

Pre-wedding photoshoot locations depend on what you like. Outdoorsy couples head to Rattlesnake Ledge or Kubota Garden. Urban couples stick to Pike Place or Fremont. We've shot engagement photos in all 43 Seattle neighborhoods at this point.

The best wedding photos happen when people forget we're there. Dad tearing up during the ceremony. Your college friends laughing at something during cocktail hour.

That moment when you and your spouse sneak away for two minutes alone.
Traditional wedding photography has its place—you need those formal family groupings. But candid shots are what you'll actually look at in five years. We balance both, but lean heavy into candid moments because that's where the real story lives.

Some brides want formal bridal portraits done before the wedding day. Full dress, full makeup, studio lighting, no time pressure. We usually schedule these a month out, which means if something needs altering on your dress, you've still got time.

These also work as anniversary gifts or framed prints for parents. One bride surprised her mom with a large canvas of her bridal portrait—her mom cried, mom's still crying probably.

Destination elopement photography takes us all over the Pacific Northwest and sometimes beyond. Orcas Island, Cannon Beach, even had one couple fly us to Iceland (that was wild).

We charge travel fees for anything outside the Seattle metro area, but we're honest about costs upfront. If you're eloping somewhere beautiful and want a photographer who gets Pacific Northwest weather and lighting, we're your people.

Multi-location wedding shoots happen more in Seattle than people realize. Ceremony at a church in Queen Anne, reception at a restaurant in Ballard, after-party in someone's houseboat. We stay with you through all of it.

Added wedding videography in 2019 because couples kept asking. We partner with two Seattle videographers we trust completely—they shoot a similar style to our photos, stay out of each other's way, and deliver films that don't feel cheesy.

You can book photo-only, video-only, or both. Most couples do both now, especially after seeing how much they forgot from their own wedding day. The video brings back everything.

Wedding ceremony photography is where experience really shows. We know when to move, where to stand, which angles work in different venues. Officiant walks in, parents are seated, processional music starts—we're already in position.

We've shot ceremonies at St. James Cathedral where you can't move during service, and backyard ceremonies where we're dodging dogs and toddlers. Both require different approaches. Elopement photography is simpler—just you two, maybe an officiant, usually outdoors. Less formal, more emotion, often our favorite shoots.

Wedding reception photography runs from grand entrance through last dance. We catch the big moments—first dance, cake cutting, toasts—and all the stuff happening between. Your aunt dancing badly. Your friends crying during speeches. The moment you actually relax and enjoy your own party.

Wedding party group photos happen during cocktail hour usually. We've got a shot list, we move fast, and we don't make your bridesmaids stand in heels on grass for 45 minutes. Get the shots, get people back to the party.

Every image gets edited. Color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping—that's baseline. Photo editing and retouching means we're also fixing stray hairs, smoothing wrinkles in suits, removing exit signs from backgrounds.

We don't photoshop bodies or faces into different shapes. You get to look like yourself, just the best version. Skin looks natural, colors look true to life, lighting looks intentional.
Turnaround is usually 4-6 weeks for weddings, faster for engagement sessions. Rush delivery costs extra but we can do it if you need photos for an announcement or event.

Wedding photo albums used to be automatic. Now they're optional, but couples who order them never regret it. We handle full album design services—picking images, creating layouts, choosing covers.

Heirloom wedding albums use thick pages and lay-flat binding. These are the albums that survive decades and get passed down. We work with a local bindery in Seattle that does gorgeous work.

Some couples order one large album for themselves plus smaller parent albums. Popular setup. Digital image delivery is standard, but albums turn your photos into something you actually interact with instead of files buried on a hard drive.

Black and white wedding photography works better for some moments than color. Emotional speeches, intimate couple portraits, dramatic lighting situations. We shoot everything in color but convert select images to black and white during editing.

Fine art wedding photography leans into this more—intentional composition, creative lighting, images that look timeless. Not every couple wants this style, but for the ones who do, we deliver it.

Seattle's diversity means multicultural wedding photography is just... regular wedding photography here. Tea ceremonies, henna applications, traditional dress changes—we've seen and shot most cultural traditions. If yours is new to us, we research beforehand and ask questions so we know which moments matter most.

Multicultural Wedding Photography

Wedding preparation photography starts in the morning—hair, makeup, dress going on, details shots of rings and invitations. These photos build the story of your day.

Bridal party photography happens fast. We've got maybe 20 minutes during cocktail hour to get you and your bridesmaids or groomsmen looking good together. We make it fun, not stressful.

Proposal photography is tricky but we've done it. You're pretending to be surprised, we're hiding with a long lens, hoping the light cooperates. When it works, though—those reactions are priceless.

Photo booth rental includes props, instant prints, and a digital gallery. Popular for receptions because guests love taking home physical photos.

Wedding day timeline planning is free consulting we do during your planning phase. We've seen enough weddings to know when your timeline's too tight or when you've scheduled portraits at the worst possible light.

Rehearsal dinner photography is less common but some families want it documented, especially for destination weddings when everyone's gathering for the first time.

Luxury wedding photography is a term we don't love but some couples search for it. If you're getting married at Willows Lodge or hiring a Michelin-starred caterer, yes, we've shot those weddings and know how to deliver images that match the investment.

Adventure wedding photography means hiking to your ceremony location with 50 pounds of gear. We're in decent shape and have done this more times than makes sense. Bring good boots.

Short notice wedding photography happens when someone cancels on you or you're planning fast. Call us. Even if we're booked, we'll try to connect you with another photographer we trust.

Pet-friendly wedding shoots welcome your dog in getting-ready photos or ceremony shots. We've photographed ring-bearing dogs, flower dogs, dogs who just wanted to be there. Always a highlight.

Not sure which services you actually need? Call us at (222)333-4444 and we'll walk through your day—we'll tell you what's worth spending on and what you can skip.

We're based in Fremont but shoot weddings throughout Seattle—Capitol Hill, Ballard, Queen Anne, West Seattle, Georgetown, Wallingford, Green Lake, Magnolia. Eastside weddings in Bellevue, Kirkland, Woodinville, Redmond happen weekly during wedding season.

North to Everett and Bellingham, south to Tacoma, east to Snoqualmie and Leavenworth—if it's within two hours of Seattle, we're there regularly. Farther than that, we charge travel but we'll go.

Getting married outside Seattle city limits? Text us your venue address at (222)333-4444—we'll confirm travel costs within an hour so there's no surprises later.

Service Areas

We take maybe 40 weddings per year, max. Between May and September, we're often shooting two per weekend. If your date's coming up and you haven't booked a photographer yet, call us today—206-xxx-xxxx. Even if we're full, we know other great Seattle wedding photographers who might have availability.

Custom photo packages start at $2,500 for basic coverage and scale up based on hours, locations, and add-ons like albums or videography. We'll walk through options during your consultation, show you full wedding galleries from similar venues, and build a package that fits your budget.

Your wedding happens once. We make sure the photos do it justice.
